Never Alone: Finding Hope Through a Women’s Support Program
How Legacy 12 Provides Compassion, Community, and Encouragement During Life’s Most Difficult Moments
During seasons of unexpected loss and grief, a women’s support program can provide something deeply important—a caring community that offers compassion, encouragement, and the reassurance that no one has to face life’s hardest moments alone.
A mother of four came to Crisis Assistance Ministry after a difficult season of loss and uncertainty. She and her 20-year-old daughter had recently been involved in a serious car accident that left them without the vehicle they depended on for DoorDash income, making it even harder to provide for their family.
Looking for hope and support, she accepted an invitation to join a Legacy 12 gathering featuring counselor Dr. Crystal Currie. During the meeting, she received the heartbreaking news that her fiancé had been killed in a trucking accident.
In that moment, the women of Legacy 12 surrounded her with prayer, compassion, and support while Dr. Currie provided immediate counseling. Today, as she continues to grieve, she knows she has a community of women walking beside her.
Legacy 12 became more than a program; it became a place where she found hope, encouragement, and the reminder that she is never alone.
